On arrival we were greeted by Tommy with huge enthusiasm, immedately making us feel welcome and sharing where everything was for our two days in his home. We had reserved a splendid recently re-furbished room on the top floor of the house more like a suite than a room with our own lounge area. The bathroom was en-suite and the size of most hotel rooms. Charlotte prepared breakfast, delicious, taken under the trees in the sunshine of the courtyard and Tommy was attentive and arranged our retaurant in Cognac on the first night. On our second evening we enjoyed bread and cheese and a very good bottle of local organic red wine, in the evening sunshine.
