What an awesome hotel! We decided to stay in the small town of Marina instead of Split and just drive into Split for day trips (about 40 km away). We are very glad we made that decision, as Split felt a bit overrated to us, while Marina was peaceful, beautiful, and far more relaxing. We even spent our second day exploring Trogir rather, which we enjoyed much more because it was quieter and full of charm. Marinus Beach Hotel is still brand new and was easily the best hotel we stayed at in Croatia — a true five-star experience. From reception to the cleaning staff and restaurant staff, everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent and had everything one could want. We originally booked a balcony room, but they upgraded us to one of the four special balcony rooms that share a private swimming pool area. The pool can only be accessed through those four units, which made it feel like having your own private pool. Absolutely amazing experience. The rooms are very modern, stylish, and well equipped. The bathroom was beautiful, and the shower was excellent. We will definitely stay here again. Marina itself is also a beautiful small town with some really great restaurant options.

We especially liked how extremely clean our 2 bedroom unit was. Next, the view from all 3 of the balconey doors was amazing. Mario brought our luggage upstairs for us, and gave us 3 recommendations for restaurants. We we're pretty hungry so we went to the first one from his list, Restaurant Royal. The waiter, service and food were do delicious. And, they had misters that were ever so refreshing on a 90 degree morning. Mario also invite us to have an Espresso or Cappuccino while we were poolside. This is a great place to be.
