Amazing hotel that provides private rooms and additional services for very reasonable prices. The location is five minutes from the highway bus station and right next to the Japanese traditional park. Lunch and dinner are also available at the hotel & since I stayed for a month sometimes it was a true life savior. The hosts provide cultural lessons and private tours to the main attractions upon requests. They spoke English, which made our communication really easy and I’m happy that now I can understand more about the intricacies of Japanese culture and cuisine. The Japanese tea ceremony and calligraphy sessions were my personal favorites. You can actually see Mountain Fuji right from the entrance, and during my Fuji hike hosts even provided pick up and drop off service to&from the 5th station which was really helpful. As I said, the hosts are very kind and friendly, even when I arrived, one of the other guests forgot her luggage in the bus, and they spend the whole day helping her return the luggage, for me it immediately created a strong positive impression.

We were warmly greeted in this classic Japanese house. It felt very typical. It wasn’t very luxurious but it was very clean and everything you might need was available. The hosts were wonderful and cheerful. Although the language barrier was there we managed to communicate well! The dinner and breakfast were so good and the quantities were huge! The onsen is very nice on the roof.

The house was wonderful. It has a lot of space, is very comfortable, and is in a great location. Many restaurants, shops, bus/train station, and Mount Fuji World Heritage are walkable from it. The host was very responsive and met me at the house to show me around. This was especially notable because I booked it the same day and arrived 2 hours later. It also provided a great experience staying in a Japanese style house! A bit different (and more stylish) than a Western house. One thing to know is that the bathroom control panel for the hot water needs turned on to shower or auto fill the bathtub. This isn't typical in Western homes, so could confuse some people. Also, Google Maps brought me behind the property, which confused me a bit. There is a sign out front clearly marking it by name. It was a lovely stay and I would definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

The Thai lady who hosted us was soooo nice! She was kind and smily but still discreet, she made us feel at home ! She even gave us some delicious hand made traditional Thai snack. The whole house was super clean, and our traditional room super comfy ! Would 100% stay again. Thank you !!

Staff is so sweet. Everything was clean, the room is beautiful and a perfect budget option for a traditional tatami room. The breakfast fried rice was probably the best meal I had my entire time in Japan.

The onsen on site was extremely good, it's worth staying there just for the onsen alone. We are grateful to the staff for bringing us three chairs to the room, because we were tired of spending time on the floor :-)
