This is a lovely chalet, but it worked perfectly as a refuge during a cold and rainy night in late December. Although there’s no central heating, the air conditioner did a great job warming up the place. Very cozy and highly recommended!

Exceptional views, fantastic service, delicious food and great facilities. Can highly recommend. The road there is accessible with a normal car and not too far from Muscat.

Perfect location at the end of the old Misfah village. At the trail start to the falaj and other longer trails. Quiet and clean. Beautiful views from most of the rooms and from the roof top terrasse for an excellent breakfast. Owner very helpful.

The apartment is located close to all amenities and within walking distance of a beautiful palm tree forest and a cafe within it. I used it as a base to explore the region. The apartment is well equipped and value for money. The bed is comfortable and the area is peaceful and quiet. I stayed for three nights and I would return for longer in the future. The hosts were very good and responsive.

The farm grounds were fantastic - the pool and surrounding area was clean, there were many different options for outdoor seating, the baboons were interesting (but is it fair to keep baboons in a cage in the middle of Oman?!) and the maintenance guy was quite helpful and friendly. Although not in great condition, the pool table and ping pong tables were fun for kids. The owner was lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. He brought us extra kitchen items when requested as well as coffee and dates. He checked on us regularly via WhatsApp.
