Very clean and nicely arranged rooms. Security guard at the door . Secure Parking space right in front of the hotel . Hotel lobby has two computers for work and a microwave. The area at night is very questionable. Highly recommend staying indoors at that time. we were nicely surprised by the quality of the hotel, considering the area it’s located in. Highly recommend if staying in Colon.

Our stay at Playa Escondida could not have been more pleasurable. After a long drive from the airport (due to missing a crucial turn), our gracious hosts were very understanding and waiting for us when we finally arrived. The apartment was immaculate and very comfortable, The entire property is beautiful with two excellent restaurants and a gelato shop. With the Tiendita, there was no need to leave for anything. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, even helping to change a flat tire on our departure day. The beach and the water were spectacular, especially in the morning when the sun was coming up. Snorkeling revealed plentiful fish all around the rocks and kayaks were excellent for exploring the bay and the mangrove shoreline. Everyone in our family loved the stay and look forward to coming back.
