The hotel was amazing. It made our trip. Very good value for money. Stop looking and book that hotel, you won't regret it.

The breakfast was excellent the indoor pool was good but I was really disappointed to be told that there was to be a aqua aerobic session and no body turned up and there was no explanation as to why

Very good location, close to all nice restaurants and shops. Private parking on the site.10 min. walk to the beautiful beach promenade. Hotel is very clean and serve a good breakfast and dinner. Bonus - go to next building Dorisol Mimosa, it's the same property, 11 floor offers breathtaking panoramic view over Funchal Bay. We loved it and definitely will come back to this place again.

Beautiful pool area, grounds are very nice. Access to walking path. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

This hotel is great value for the money. Room made up every day; front desk is 24/7. Very pretty grounds with grass and trees. Pools are excellent—indoor and outdoor pools appear to be recently refurbished, both of them heated. Yes, you read correctly, the outdoor pool is heated! Unlike almost every other outdoor pool in Madeira, you can go in it in January/February. Indoor hot tub was clean and well maintained, though it could have been hotter. Sauna was also clean and well maintained and very hot. Kitchenette has a fridge, cooktop, pot, pan, kettle, silverware, dishes—enough to make grilled cheese sandwiches and soup. Shower had good pressure and temperature. TV has lots of channels including English language ones. Very good location—short walk to water, and the Forum shopping mall is across the street. Bar/lounge in lobby has live music almost every night. Yes, it is old and worn, but when taking the price into account, this is an excellent hotel. For those giving negative reviews, they should have stayed at one of the many very nice resort hotels in the area…for double the price.

The hotel was amazing, especially the convenient parking and central location. The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite. We particularly enjoyed the diverse breakfast options and the stunning rooftop pool. Highly recommend this hotel.

We had a beautiful sea view, free parking, queen size bed that was very comfortable. The hotel was accessible to cafés and delicious restaurants.

Apart from the fact that the apartment itself is truly comfortable without feeling of "boring rental place without soul" is it located strategically perfect - literally EVERYTHING is very close: good grocery, market, airport shuttle stop, starting points of buses to everywhere on island, cable car stops, ocean, promenade, buzzling old center. Yes, there's a short hilly street to get to the house but I guess on Madeira you should breathe out and keep calm - you cannot find a location with totally flat surfaces anyway :) So if you are without a car as we were - you won't regret this great location.

The location and the size of Rooftop Marina II was just perfect for us. From the balcony there's a great view over the marina. We were able to walk everywhere in just a few minutes.

Absolute gem of a place. Situated about a 20 min walk downhill to sea front and restaurants. Lovely views from terrace over harbour and town. Matheus was a dream host from the start. You could believe you were a guest in his own house. The whole place has been fabulously refurbished to a high standard. Impossible to fault. The main attraction though was breakfast.. Best start to a day ever. We will definitely be returning in the near future.
