We spent 2 nights and 3 days at the Domaine and had a delightful experience as an older couple The location in a mountain village has spectacular views down to the sea, and the landscaped property has been restored up to contemporary standards of comfort from an old stone dwelling in a simple and elegant way and furnished with a whirlpool and a small swimming pool. Jerome, the proprietor, was helpful at every step, and recommended hikes in the area and visits to the local villages. One excellent feature is that Jerome runs a small restaurant on the premises with tasty local dishes, serving 3 meals a day, so in addition to enjoying breakfast and lunch on the terrace, it is not necessary to venture out on the mountain roads in search of supper- or to drive back in the dark.

The hotel is remotely located, so it is very quiet at night. It was about 20 minutes drive to the nearest town ile de Rousse and 25 mins drive to the beautiful beach pladge de bodri. The pool of the hotel is amazing, a good place to chill after a day at the beach. The house is a pretty rock house, the room is well equipped and spacious. The hotel staff were nice and friendly, although most of the time I did not understand what they were talking about in French.

What a fun place to stay! We really enjoyed our time here as a family. We swam in the pool and nearby river, played pétanque, enjoyed a delicious communal dinner and were greeted by friendly staff (and sweet dog). The vibe was laid back, pleasant and fun. The staff really went out of their way to be welcoming as well.
