Bedroom was quite big, bed was comfortable. Bedroom overlooking the peaceful pretty garden with
Appleby nearby. Decor looked fresh. The bathroom was very small but had a jacuzzi bath. The toiletries were high on the wall hence not well positioned for use in the bath. We ate in the bistro which was pleasant and staff good. All fresh decor. Breakfast was nice. Reception staff efficient and friendly, a map was provided. facilitating a nice morning walk around the area. (the reception layout was poor).

Exceptional from start to finish. Jackie was the perfect hostess, advised on placed to visit and local restaurants which were excellent. The room and the jacuzzi bath were amazing. Breakfast was delicious and plenty with a big variety. Nothing was too much trouble, Jackie even put our champagne in her fridge, when we asked for it she insisted on bringing it up herself, served on ice and beautifully presented. Thank you for making our anniversary so special.

What an amazing place. The accommodation is clean, extremely spacious, and has everything you could need for a relaxed stay. The hot tub was ready on arrival and great with it having a cover in case it rains. The birds of prey on site are great, and the birds of prey experience is 100% a must do. Gary and Graham are so lovely and easy to talk to. Nothing is too much for them! We would defo be back.

We like the first spacious, well appointed room we had for 2 nights with a very comfortable bed, good & well equipped bathroom and both comfortably warm. Our second room wasn’t as well equipped.
The spa facility was good with a good sized pool, excellent steam room & jacuzzi massages within the pool. The staff in the spa facility were particularly warm, friendly and welcoming.
We had a good meal at the nearby pub - ‘Wainwrights’. At breakfast, there was plenty of choice and it was well set out.

Loved nearly all parts of this stay. The staff, hot tub, bed, breakfast, location were all great. Coming back to a different towel design after room service each time was really fun. We had an extended stay as I had never been to Windemere and we hadn't been able to go on holiday for a few years at this point, and I felt like we had plenty to do (though we both enjoy walks) but with enough time to also properly relax in the spa room. Would definitely come back here again.

Lovely spacious cottage with double bathroom, 3 big bedrooms, 1 playroom with a pooltable and extra bed. Full kitchen, lovely fenced garden and a spacious livingroom and extra toilet downstairs. Lovely owner with good advice about the surroundings. The jacuzzi was a bonus.

The view of the sheep, cows and Alpacas. Lots of clothes hanging space, easy to check in and out, great kitchen, hot tub lovely and clean and private. Very peaceful and relaxing. Great water pressure for shower with constant hot water.
