My father is currently in a wheelchair. His room was spacious and well equipped for his needs, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast buffet offered great choices

Cozy and quaint location, great breakfast, pleasant staff and the sound of running water outside of your window with beautiful balconies to sit and take in your surroundings. Ziegenrück is a gorgeous village and you must stay at Hotel Am Schlossberg if you’re in the area! Lots to do and see and amazing for any nature lover.

We have been there several times years back, as it is excellently situated a days driving from Denmark. The hotel has had a difficult time after previous owners. But it's improving considerably under a new management - many thanks to the very nice receptionist :-). It will soon return to its previous glory, as rooms have been renovated, only lacking the final touch.

This hotel is located in an exceptional environment because it's surrounded by a huge park but at the same time close to the main road of the town with good Cafe's and restaurants. There is nothing you miss for a relaxed stay and of course the spa area invites for swimming and sauna or also massages. Thanks for this nice experience! :-)

Very friendly warm staff. Although decor looks older, it is actually somewhat newly installed and is of Bavarian style.

The hotel was very clean and fitness center had decent enough equipment to use. You must ask for key to the fitness center, but I understand because they are a family friendly hotel and want to keep children out. The steam radiator heater enabled the room to stay at a comfortable temperature even thought it was about 27 degrees Fahrenheit outside. Nice view of hillside from the window. The staff was friendly and one lady in the morning spoke fluent English while the lady in the evening spoke little but was enough for us to communicate well.

From the moment I arrived, the welcome was warm, professional, and genuinely friendly. The staff went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect, always approachable and happy to help with any request. Parking is free. The rooms are modern, spotless, and very comfortable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, guaranteeing a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was another great highlight and included in the price. For the dinner we were recommended by the owner to go to the local pizzeria Gasthaus "Schwarzes Roß" Kirchstraße 6, 95183 Töpen, which is only 1,4 km away (free parking). It serves great local dishes and Italian cuisine. Delicious food and very well priced! The hotel’s location in Hof is convenient, with easy access to the motorway while still offering a quiet and relaxing environment. The view from our room ( no2) was super nice to wake up to. Overall, Hotel Ambiente delivers an outstanding combination of comfort, service, and value. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it.
