Tortuga Bay is absolutely fabulous.
Tortuga Bay is absolutely fabulous. It is a 30 to 40 minute walk over pavers. You have beautiful scenery while walking to the beach. Breathtaking cacti. The first Beach you come to is a no swim zone because of rough currents. It is absolutely breathtaking. Turn to your right for approximately 5 minutes and you will be at a swimming beach. This beach is also stunning. Marine iguanas are everywhere. They won't bother you as long as you do not bother them. Highly recommend this trip to Tortuga Bay

Hector was the absolute best, such a happy soul and kept telling us the best things that we'd missed like the black tips at the pier at night, and the location perfect, smack bang next ti the road to tortuga bay, the food opposite was amazing!

Location—you are close to travel agencies to book any tours you need and are easily able to walk to any of the destinations in town (the pier, the ferry, Charles Darwin station, tortuga bay, bars and restaurants).
Cost—you can’t beat the cost. If you need a place to lay your head in between day trips/adventure and don’t want to pay a lot, this is your place. Even in a non-shared room with an en-suite bathroom, vista al mar is very affordable.
Clean—room and bathroom is cleaned daily and a fresh towel is provided each day.

Best stay in Ecuador! Im not kidding! I’m so happy I had a chance to stay in such a welcoming place! Neliza is just an amazing host, I felt so welcome there like I was staying at my family place! So much care, delicious breakfasts every morning, free bikes, cozy rooms, fast wi-fi. She gave me so many tips what to do around the island, also gave me a free ride by her motorbike to tortuga bay entrance. If you want to feel local vibes, practice your Spanish and feel welcome - this is a place for you.

The host Sofia was so incredibly hospitable and the place is just adorable -- my room was spacious, comfortable and squeaky clean. The hotel is on a quiet side street a short walk from some lovely places to eat, though it is a little bit of a walk down to the pier. That said, it's a great location if you want to visit Tortuga Bay (the trailhead is super close)!

One of the best places we’ve stayed! The rooms were modern and spotless. Breakfast was freshly made and very tasty and there was a filtered water machine available for use. The real highlight were the hosts Dario and Priscilla - they explained so much about what to do on the island, drove us to tortuga bay for a 6am start, allowed us to borrow snorkel equipment for free and gave us a late checkout so that we could shower after our swimming. Highly recommend!

Yogo and his mother were the best! I contacted Yogo prior to our arrival, and he booked some day tours in advance. They were so accommodating that when we had early morning day trips, they made sure we had breakfast first.
It's located in the downtown area of Puerto Ayora, so everything is easy to walk to. Restaurants, beaches, Tortuga Bay, and water taxis are all walkable.
