Great hotel, clean and comfortable room, lovely breakfast, super friendly staff

I booked this hotel for my 20 year old daughter. She loved the lobby, the restaurant, and the shower in her room. She also appreciated the design of the room and the bed. The home-made iced tea at the restaurant was delicious. She stayed at the hotel during the 2026 June heat wave, and the restaurant staff gave her ice when she asked for it. She met the hotel manager as well and he was kind and a good listener. Thank you to everyone at People Lyon Hotel!

Modern hotel with large rooms, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. It has nice secure underground parking (for a fee) with a large number of spaces. This is excellent if you want to explore the city not have to worry about the car. There is a bus stop close by with frequent departures that makes it easy to access the the metro and get around the city. The hotel is located in a nice modern area with a few restaurants and bars close by. It was easy to find and not too far away from the motorway.

Extraordinary location, in an historical convent, perfectly maintained. Courtesy of the staff is far above any expection. At the arrival since our room was not ready we were upgraded to a suite. The furniture in the common areas of the hotel is extraordinary and make this luxury location an amazing experience. The heated pool with the stunning view over Lyon is top.

Room was comfortable and functional. Parking was available in the street directly outside the hotel.

Room is spotless clean and comfortable bed and pillows. Not sure if the room was just better in person or if I was given an upgrade because it was spacious. The bathroom was lovely!! Staff very accommodating and quick to act on requests. They also allowed to checkout 1hour later since I arrived very late in the evening. Location is very central.

The bread for a 'tartine' was not so fresh, and there was no protective cloth/napkin to allow people to cut the loaf of bread.

Highly recommend- room was very clean, breakfast was varied enough and quality was very good. Staff was very nice during check in and out. Good location next a metro station, just a few stops from center of town. I was able to find free street parking because it was the weekend.

Absolutely a top property. The hotel was modern and very lovely. Everything was clean. The breakfast was exceptional. The hostess who greeted us was exceptionally nice. Provided us with a few good tips on where to eat, what to see, and how to get there. She recommended a nearby restaurant called Piedra and was fabulous. The bar at the hotel was lovely. Parking was convenient and easy to find (although it was a bit of an uphill walk to get to it on foot - recommend dropping luggage at check in and then going to park the car). Highly recommend this hotel.

Great location, room and overall experience. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is situated really well for exploring the city!

Pool and spa, also the breakfast was nice

I was really in need of a room with good AC which they were able to provide. The staff were especially helpful when it seemed my stay might have to be extended, and at a time when they had very little available (high season). I didn't need this in the end, but their support was immediate, reassuring and accommodating. Great people, great place.

once we were upgraded and charged for a larger room, we were quite happy. the original room assigned was tiny and cramped.

I loved the rooftop, the location and the vibes of the hotel. Was comfortable and I felt safe.

The front desk attendant was so nice! The room was also plenty spacious, and we had the 3 twin bed room. The AC worked great, and the room had a very cute balcony. The bathroom was also quite large, with plenty of hot water. The location is also great, it’s on a shaded street very close to the old town and bridge. The beds were comfortable, and everything looks clean.
