What a wonderful place to stay, close to all the action yet far enough to be quiet at night. The rooms are very well appointed ,the air conditioning fantastic and the beds were incredibly comfortable There is not a lift but the staff was very accommodating to those who could use a hand with their luggage. With all the positives of this place the people who work here are its greatest strength. Anthony was especially helpful, he was very accommodating in meeting our needs and then going further in helping us with some difficult health situations. We didn’t lift a finger as he set up what needed to be done and we were more than appreciative! We will return one day to this beautiful city and when we do, it will be a bee line to the Kanai Hotel. Highly recommended!

Mama Shelter Lille made us feel right at home. Our room was spacious and spotless, with everything we needed. Staff were really helpful and friendly - and were happy to help us in English. We also had excellent breakfast, one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had in ages. We were so cosy and comfortable in our room that we almost didn't want to leave to face the winter elements! Mama Shelter is also close to the Eurostar station and easy to find.

We liked a lot: - the breakfast: very diverse, with a lot of options. Totally worth the pay! - the attention to waste: large bottles of shampoo, soap in the bathroom, towels changed only if on the floor, no plastic water bottles, the breakfas (jam) jars were large, with option to self-serve as much as needed, etc. - the position: we traveled by train so it was right next to train station Lille Flandres. Excellent location for us! - spacious room with fridge and coffee/tea makers - the toys, books and games in the lobby - the general atmosphere : very colorful, clean, friendly

Great place, great location, great price.

The location is perfect, very close to a city connecting roads, 400m to the nearest metro-station, 4 stops to the center, and at the same time it's a place somehow separated from the urban environment. You might feel like you're camping... Pretty good rooms with comfortable beds, private bathrooms, good heating, TV and everything you need for a short or longer stay. Large, safe and free of charge parking in the property. A nice restaurant is open there at the entrance. Very friendly and helpful staff, who will give you tips for exploring the city. And the owner speaks English. Overall, I highly recommend it. Will go there again next time! Thank you, Campanile Lille Sud! 🙂

Location, it’s quite literally perfectly in the middle of everywhere one might want to go.

This small but cosy hotel has the charm of an older family run establishment. It's perfect for it's central location in the old town close to all shops cafes, museum, transport links including both Eurostar and local trains and metro. It's not on the main street so it is quiet at night. The staff are fabulous. The bed was very comfortable and house-keeping daily. The walls are thin but it's a quiet establishment. Great stay. Highly recommended if you're looking for some authenticity. Plus a bath.

The location was close to all the locations we needed to visit in Lille. The room was very clean, easy to access, shower was good.

I had a comfortable stay, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was enjoyable, with plenty of choice. The location was perfect, couldn't be bettered, and I am happy to recommend such a lovely, stylish, hotel.

Location is just perfect & the car park super handy and so close to the hotel since Lille is now a "no car" city center.

The staff was so very helpful! We arrived stressed out and they did everything they could to help us out. They also took care of a donation of clothing we had. It was a very nice stay.

Such a stylish and welcoming hotel. The reception was warm and efficient and the room was well laid out and the bed was extremely comfortable. Lovely breakfast and fabulous location. Could not ask for more.

Location, silence and warm approach to help foreigners

We loved the breakfast. The staff was great. The location was very good, an easy walk to the Flandres and Europe train-stations and equally easy walk to city center which is beautiful, especially at night.
