Hotels near Shijo Station, Kyoto

Great location, located close to the subway and bus stops; several convenience stores nearby. The street the hotel is located on was quiet. Room was an excellent size, beds comfortable, very clean. We opted to have the breakfast buffet on our last day - very enjoyable. Loved that they make onigiri to order. Nice amenities and they had a coffee machine for guests. Would absolutely stay again next time.

Location was excellent, close to a main station. The rooms and bathrooms were well equipped and very comfortable. Breakfast was also excellent with a great variety of choices.

Staff were so helpful, nothing was too much for them. Beautiful mix of modern & traditional Japanese style.

The room is so cozy and comfy , fully equipped with all you need for a stay, even a washing machine ready for use provided in a cabinet. Such a thoughtful offer indeed!

Everything was super clean, it’s small room but perfect for a couple. Excellent service from the staff, they helped us get our luggage sent to Osaka, it really made the difference. Easy to get there, there’s a bus stop in front of the hotel.

Very nice and comfortable rooms, bigger than average, feeling very cosy. Kind and polite staff. Good location to explore Kyoto.

Excellent value for the money, close to the Kyoto station and the market, in a neighborhood with many good restaurants. Clean and comfy rooms.

Very convenient location, it is a plus advantage! Staff are willing to help but language is ordinary but using translation to help, it works but time consuming . Breakfast is fair varieties.

1) staying experience. I was upgraded from standard twin room (3 persons) to be quadruple room which has separated toilet, bathroom, and huge bedroom. The room we stayed has 4 beds, big bathroom with washing machine. the room was very clean and comfortable, with microwave and 2-doors freezer & refrigerators. too bad I only stayed 1 night, definitely would like to stay here for next trip. 2) location 2 mins to Shijo Subway Station, surrounded by convenience stores and restaurants. 5 mins walk to Shijo district (shopping arcade) 3) efficient check-in and check-out

Booked family room. Good space . Can sleep 3 or 4 people. Location very good. We didn’t book breakfast as there is so many places around in the morning for breakfast . We hire car and there is many parking place around the hotel

The room was really pretty, spacious and clean. Very comfortable to have our own bathroom! The staff is very friendly, the commun area is kids friendly, it’s awesome. The area is very nice, close to everything (restaurant, subway, Pokémon center!)

We had a wonderful stay. The service was exceptional, and the facilities were both nice and clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great restaurant suggestions and assisting us with getting a taxi. Highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and pleasant stay!

Amazing new hotel in Kyoto. Very clean and spacious bathroom, beautifully furnished room, staff is very helpful. Room size was great, we had more than enough space for our luggage. Would come back anytime.

I stayed at a newly opened hotel, and it was truly an amazing experience! The facilities were brand new, spotless, and equipped with the latest amenities, making my stay extremely comfortable. The staff are so friendly and kind even tho it just has opened. The location was also very convenient for sightseeing and dining, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Our room is clean, big and comfortable, even the amenities are so nice! There was a special excitement that comes with being at a brand-new hotel, and it became a truly memorable experience. Beautiful spacious spotless room (we booked Deluxe room). Super comfortable bed. Beautiful bathroom. Freeflow bar in the evening. Great location.

The location was amazing, 10 min walk to the food market. 5 min walk to the metro. It was easy to get to from the Shinkansen, 5 minute walk to the hotel. If you like walking everything is 20-30 mins away. The room was a great size 3 double beds for 2 adults and 2 kids(12&10). Complementary tea, coffee water from 2pm-midnight. They have a female and male onsen which was lovely to experience. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The lounge was really cozy. We met a friendly couple and shared our journey with each other. We enjoyed the free breakfast, coffee, tea and night snack as well. The staffs are very kind and helpfull.

Very beautiful and renovated hotel, value for money seen Kyoto prices and in a walkable distance from the center of Kyoto. Staff was very friendly and overall would highly recommend it!

I enjoyed the little cafe in the lobby. There was a nice place to put the laptop up and get some work done in the morning before walking out into town. The location is excellent and only two blocks away from the main strip and close to everything that you want to see in Kyoto
