A boutique hotel with really friendly staff who made me comfortable being solo in Malta. Super flexible as well. A huge shoutout to Diego for being so kind and understanding with some of my requirements!

Very nice and cozy place. Our room was perfectly clean and cleaned throughout our stay. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great.

Location was excellent and we loved the pool area. Highly recommend for a longer stay or a quick trip.

I loved the hotel. It looked new and well kept. Rooms are spacious and clean with a very modern shower. The included buffet breakfast was awesome…plenty of different foods and drinks in a very comfortable dining room, also very spacious. The staff working the breakfast are incredibly welcoming and attentive while not expecting to be tipped (I tipped a couple of euros every day, if you tip like in the US they might get offended) The concierge, forgot her name, but this nice Italian accent lady, helped us book a trip to the blue lagoon in no time (I had been unsuccessful booking them, they were all sold out) and gave us a great location to watch the sunset on the west coast of Malta. I loved the hotel, the staff, the location and the Country!! Highly recommend to everyone but for families it is awesome. There’s a pool club called Aqualuna that is super nice as well!! It is across the street from the hotel and the pool is shared by 3 hotels. There are amazing staff but it gets crowded fast, so go early. My son, 11, had a blast in the pool for a couple of hours while me an my wife enjoyed some appetizers on a table right on the water, on the bay with the citadel fort on the other side of the bay!! I don’t write reviews… I really don’t, only if my experience is terrible or great!! This place deserves a great review!! Not one single person was mean to us! The price from restaurants to hotels is great as well. My family and I had a great time and the memories of Malta will be with us forever… Thank you Azur Hotel for making our stay in your lovely country a great one!! Ohhh… one more thing… I don’t work for this hotel..I work for the County of San Diego in California (I always wonder when I read great review haha) Hope you enjoy the place like we did. Great hotel to stay, awesome location, excellent staff - highly recommend

The room was spacious, neat and tidy. The location was really good. The bus stops are your doorstep. You do get sea-view. Once outside there are benches for sitting in the walkway of the promenade. A whole lot of pubs, ice cream parlours and restaurants are around the place. The whole bay area is great for morning and evening walks. I walked probably a whole lot from ferries to st julians bay...The rooms are nicely insulated from the outside noise as it is busy street. You can also have food in the hotel as there is a restaurant.

Very close to Valetta, and it’s very beautiful and well organized. The breakfast was good and enough to start your day.

The hotel has a great Location, we participated in many activities like boat rides and sightseen tours, the pickup spot is perfect and everything else is easy to get to by foot, like the ferry to Valetta. The hotel itself has a water dispenser so you always have clean drinkable water. The Serbian Blond lady from housekeeping was super nice to us and kept our room clean, she even did our clothes which she didn't need to, but still did. Breakfast was nice, not too much to choose from but ok, the essentials were there.

It was nice stay, breakfast is decent and rooms are clean. Ivona gave us warm welcome at reception and we were able to leave our baggage after checkout before leaving for flight.

We fell in love with these apartments! We had a room on the top floor with a balcony.it was clean and tidy. The location was perfect: very quiet and just 3 minutes from the sea. The girl at the reception was very kind, and we were also able to leave our luggage before check-in. There was even a folder with recommendations on where to eat. We really appreciated that! The kitchen was convenient, and everything looked so aesthetic and beautiful, which was very important to us. So we even recon and this for all our families ! Thank you !

Excellent location half-way up street from Esplanade from where all ferries and buses leave for Gozo, Valetta, and beyond; and half-way again and you're at a LIDL and grocery shops, which you need because you can save a lot of money by cooking- in (re-heating/microwave etc) in this very generously sized suite which had a lovely sunny balcony for morning coffee ( we visited in April and the mornings were cool so we appreciated this sunny nook, coming from a Queensland summertime!) and very private, overlooking backyards and a huge magnolia tree. There's also a brilliant bakery around the corner! We loved it, because we were independently travelling for just over 5 weeks, aged 69 and 71, and enjoyed the access, convenience and quiet of the suites (which really ARE suites - not just a bedroom that so many establishments advertise as a "suite".) The bedroom was spacious with plenty of storage to stay comfortably for a week. The bed was great. Every facility provided. Nothing not to like. And a wonderful selection of English "book swaps"which is such a bonus! And very helpful owners, thanks Dave!
