The family room was very comfortable, clean and well-equipped with a small kitchenette. We appreciated the hot tub (shared) after a day up the mountain. Dinner and ambience in the pub for dinner was excellent as usual. The mulled wine and seafood chowder are a must!

Nice and comfortable lounge, bedroom, bath room setting. Free wine tasting in small group(actually only us) was unexpected, and found truely premium Pinot /resieling which changed my perception of NZ wines. Enjoying a cup of tea at the table in the pergola with mountain view and vineyard near by. Missed out public wine tasting which should offer more bottles in the other building, well, probably another time. Staff in reception and restaurant are nice and helpful.

Great location, walking distance to restaurants or just dine at the restaurant attached , easy ! Rooms were spotless, comfortable and we totally enjoyed our stay here . Parking was right outside your room and being on the ground floor you had a little patio outside which was a nice touch .

Very nice and quiet place, a few hundred meters from the main road - room very comfortable - good advise from our guest about the place where to eat the dinner : the Cardrona hotel is certainly a place to visit !

This was my first time in Cardrona! I picked it because it was a nice place to stay between Queenstown and Wānaka, but it was so cute and fun! Everything is walkable. We had a morning breakfast at the general store. Their meat pies were amazing! We also got food at the hotel nearby and that was fabulous as well! The spa pool was nice and relaxing, especially as the days cooled down.

This is an elegant, comfortable place in a lovely location. Blyth and Ann were gracious and helpful. Don’t miss the wonderful dinner offered! The second night we ate at the Cardrona Hotel, which was quite good.

Large, comfortable rooms in a beautiful, historic hotel. There is a spa in the garden that is open for hotel guest use. The attached restaurant is amazing, with lovely log fires to sit around and a delicious menu. This was our second time staying at the Cardrona, and we would definitely return again in the future.

The Cardrona Hotel is so iconic that it is worth visiting. Our deluxe King room was nicely appointed with a large bathroom and a comfortable bed. The overall experience could be amazing with some key areas of improvement.

We loved the history and quaintness of this special hotel. The rooms, gardens, and bar were all very comfortable and welcoming. I highly recommend stopping here if you are driving through Cardrona.
