Do not go to the Bio Bay expecting CGI-esque flaming waters.
Do not go to the Bio Bay expecting CGI-esque flaming waters. If you do, you will be wildly disappointed. But if you go on an moonless night expecting fairies and how-does-nature-do-that, you will be rewarded.

There is no bad way to experience the Bio Bay!
There is no bad way to experience the Bio Bay! It is beautiful whether you boat or kayak. The guides are experts in the bay and ecosystem of Vieques. It was one of the most magical experiences of my life.

John and Mike are incredibly nice and very welcoming. They made me feel at home immediately. Service was exceptional, a lot of attention and details to help you have a great time. They even helped me book a last minute spot to see the bioluminescent bay, that was so kind of them to do so. They have a lot of excellent tips that they are happy to share with you. I would go again and I definitely recommend it! Thank you both so much again for your kindness!

The hotel facility was beautiful, serene, clean, and quiet. It was the perfect location for our evening activities when we arrived. A nice short walk away was Playa Negra and an easy drive to the Bioluminescent Bay tour. The staff were incredibly helpful and offered great recommendations for our stay on the island. Breakfast was filling and delicious. Highly recommend Hacienda Tamarindo. I plan on staying here again when I return.
