Good location at the edge of the medina (good for taxis, good for visiting by foot). Excellent breakfast. Friendly hosts. The room was beautiful and comfortable.

It was a very decent stay. It was clean, decorated nicely. The gentleman at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. Well-mannered and helped me with my luggage, got me situated, and attended to all my needs. The restaurant that was attached was the best! Great menu and friendly staff! This hotel gives a good reputation for tourism in Tunisia.

I had to book this hotel last minute because my previous one cancelled on me when I was already on my way. I’m very grateful to the staff at Dar Farhat because they were always kind and accommodating. The facilities look brand new and the room was clean. Comfortable bed, hot water, great blackout curtain. It’s also walking distance from the main entrance to the Medina and the Avenue of France.

Central location near the main avenue and Medina, close to everything. Clean room and comfortable bed. Breakfast was simple but filling. The girls at reception were friendly.

Really nice hotel for the price! You get what you pay for. Comfy beds, nice balcony in the room, everything clean, hot water, so that's all we needed:) The area may seem a bit sketchy in the evening but that's everywhere in Tunis and Africa in general - doesn't mean it's not safe. It's right on the edge of the medina and only a 10 min walk to the main street. The staff were always willing to help, plus it was nice that we were able to check in late in the night without any problems. Would stay again and definitely recommend as a budget friendly option!

A lovely hotel with very nice staff

- it was very close to open market - the security was very, very good - Under 30 minutes to all the ancient sites - Very economical and great food in restaurants, especially the seafood

Best affordable hotel in Tunis! Have stayed here twice. Nice rooms, great shower with hot water and good pressure, really nice staff, comfortable bed, and quiet. Paid but affordable shuttle to airport. Close to train station and not far from louage station. Easy walk to points of interest.
