Food options were great, Breakfast was included with the stay and the dinners were well planned out. The bed was very comfy and facilities were great. I was picked up at the Skitube entrance, and meeting the lodge representative was easy.

Thredbo itself is a magnificent place—truly one of the most beautiful spots in Australia. Nestled among hills and mountains, it feels like a peaceful escape into nature. Waking up in the morning with the hills right outside your window and balcony is an incredible experience. Aneeki Lodge is perfectly located on the side of the hill. It’s cozy inside and well-equipped with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The shared kitchen and living areas are a real highlight. You can cook whatever you like, as the kitchen has all the necessary tools, and the dining area is also very pleasant. The living room is a great place to relax and socialise—whether you want to chat with other guests or step out onto the balcony just outside the living area. From there, you can enjoy stunning views of all of Thredbo, the hills in front of you, and the mountains you can hike, bike, or take the chairlift up. If you’re planning any activities or looking to book restaurants, it’s worth giving the manager a quick call. He and his wife are incredibly kind and always happy to help—often going out of their way to find discounts for activities or restaurants whenever possible.
