What an incredible find, highly recommend to all! This home feels like you’re in nature - surrounded by mountains and rivers and animals, but it’s still easy to get to and close to stores! More importantly it’s so luxurious and every details is thought through, the bed is comfy, the home is quiet, and there are even honeys and oils from the farm provided. I was there on a rainy and cool night and the host made a fire and provided wood, which was so lovely! Finally the host is very communicative and accommodating.

What a treat to stay in this renovated windmill. A truly unique experience on a ridge top in a line of about 20 windmills in various states of repair and ruin. It was warm inside and comfortable and fresh bread and breakfast was delivered in the morning. The area was well lit at night. We really enjoyed our night here. Waking up on top of the ridge was a treat. Would stay again

Everything! The location was amazing! Just an adorable cabin in the middle of beautiful Talasnal. We absolutely loved the enclosed fireplace. We ate a good meal every night with the fire going. The hosts are fantastic and super responsive. We made the mistake of locking ourselves out one night, and Pedro and his wife were quick to help us resolve the issue. I can't recommend this place enough!

Awesome place, authentic with plenty of character. The craftsmanship in the remodel & the furnishings of this house are amazing. Good skilled artisans did the work very tastefully. Extremely quiet. Excellent location. Would have loved to have had more than 2 days here. There are plenty of great hikes & things to do in the area. Also had one of our best portuguese meals 20 mins away, in Talasnal, at Montanhas de Amor.
