This was an excellent stay. The room was spacious and so clean. The meals we're delicious and I loved the safari tour that was arranged for us. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The pool was great.

An exceptional lodge experience! The rooms are huge and immaculate. The whole place is peaceful and really added to the safari experience. There is a pool and restaurant. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was one of the best meals we have had in Sri Lanka. The staff even surprised us with a birthday cake as both of us are celebrating birthdays on our trip. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. They had pre booked a safari for us and arranged everything. I highly recommend Koragaha Lodge when staying in Yala.

Rohan and his wife were incredibly genuine and generous. They were my favorite part of my trip and the most memorable. Very thankful for them and their kindness. They went above and beyond, even driving me to and from Tangalle for medical care. They were always willing to help, including arranging transportation and picking me up after the nighttime Turtle Watch. The breakfasts were gorgeous and delicious. The accommodation was beautiful and its bathroom was particularly nice. The setting was very peaceful and relaxing. Would absolutely recommend 🩷

This quiet little cottage was a perfect place to base ourselves for a few days while we explored Yala, Lunugamvehera, Udawalawe, and Ella. Our hosts, Gayan and his family, went above and beyond to ensure we had a happy and comfortable visit, and we were honored to be their first guests through Booking.com. Their kindnesses included such touches as providing us with limes from their own tree and preparing us a special breakfast (including delicious milk rice) on our first day. They also showed us around town and even helped my friend find a shop that had some particular things she was looking for. The property itself is cozy and beautiful. If you sleep in the front room (the one with the king bed and small bed), you can fall asleep to the sounds of the distant sea even with the windows closed. If you prefer a more silent night, you will find that in the back room (the one with the loft bed). The front room opens to the outdoor living space you see in the photos. It is a beautiful place to sit with your morning coffee or to relax in the afternoon. The back room and the kitchen open to the outdoors, and there is a paved walkway connecting the back room, the kitchen, and the outdoor living space. There are friendly dogs who will hang out with you on the property, but they do not enter the porch/living area or the rooms. They are sweet, calm, pleasant company. There's a good restaurant next door, which is convenient for dinner. You could cook in the well-prepared kitchen, but we did not do this during our stay. We also did not walk to town, although you probably could. The hosts are planning to add a couple more rooms to the property over time, but for now, it's just this one perfect little cottage. Much as the name suggests, Garnet Yala Beach truly is a gem. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place near the parks who wants a peaceful beachy spot hosted by a lovely family.

Not only is Leopard Lodge a fantastic place to stay with nothing to fault, the staff were interested in our arrangements in order to ensure we got the best value out of our visit to Yala on the safari. This interest helped us to be well informed and it was really helpful. They also were able to provide an adapter as the power sockets needed a different plug to my converter. The food was exceptional, I would rate it with fine dining, both in flavour and presentation. Lastly, the early morning wake up call at 4.30am took all the worry about oversleeping away and I really appreciated this.
