Though the whole complex has the air of a resort from the Communist era, it turned out things are far better than I read in older comments. The room was quite big, with a nice huge balcony, and the bathroom was modernized and had a big tub. Everything was clean (though we've found two lost so ks in one of the wardrobes). We ate at Iadolina restaurant and the food was also very good, big servings well cooked. The breakfast was satisfying, too, and the waiter was very polite and prompt. There aren't many accomodations in Stâna de Vale, which is a very small resort, but ours was the right choice.

Everything is just perfect. The little houses have everything you need and more. You get comfy beds, a bathroom, TV, Wi-Fi, a fridge, air conditioning, heating, parking right next to it. You also get cleanliness, fresh air, quiet, a restaurant and store, a kids' playground, raspberry bushes, a bunny and a dog to play with and feed, and the hosts are super nice and always available, even on Booking. What more could you wish for?!

If I ever return to Padis, this is where I will come. The hosts are extraordinary, it's wonderful what they managed to do. Wonderful place, welcoming, very clean, quiet, gorgeous rooms, fantastic scenery. Heat in radiators, always hot water. It is cooked on site, the food is very good, cooked like at mother's home. Secured parking space. It is also a good starting point for many tourist routes.
