Beautiful country lodge set at the foot of the Swartberg mountains. The vistas were breathtaking made even more special by variety of animals (buck, zebras, giraffes) that roam the property. The lodge was Calm, Understated and welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

The food, excellent! The view, words can't describe untill you are there to experience it yourself. Staff absolutely magnificent, and quick response. The owners are amazing people, and best of all, the comfort and relaxation.... Amazing!! Definitely recommended!!

Very relaxing weekend away from the business of city life. The sounds of birds and frogs while sitting around the fire at night and having springbok and zebra wondering past the house was a treat. We enjoyed walking aroudn and exploring the farm and the dams too.

Surrounded by vineyards and offering a view of the Swartberg Mountains, De Kombuys is located on a wine farm 1.9 mi from the Cango Caves and 14 mi from the town of Oudtshoorn.

This was an amazing place. Beautiful views, secluded, romantic, gorgeous architecture and amazing food. The service was impeccable. Thos would be a great place for a wedding or honeymoon. We will be returning!
