The staff was incredible - kind, attentive, helpful. There was a language barrier, but that was navigated with phone apps and using the bits of shared language we had. The room and garden outside were beautiful and comfortable - inspiring relaxation. The location was also nice because it was close enough to the tourist spots that we could walk (20 minutes to the “Ancient City”, but still far enough away to be quiet. Also a series of good restaurants near the hotel, so always good choices to eat. Finally, there were many adorable animals - Gary the dog, the pudgy male cat, a lovely Siamese and three perfect kittens - all friendly and non intrusive, they were there if you went to them but never pushed into your space. A splendid way to complete a family friendly hotel.

The room is well lit and ventilated, the layout is warm and tidy, the bed is soft and comfortable, the toiletries are complete, the hot water is sufficient 24 hours a day, the details are particularly in place, and the living is very comfortable. The boss service is considerate and thoughtful, super heartwarming, cost-effective, sincerely recommended, full praise! Bookmarked.

The courtyard is very comfortable, clean, and I didn't want to leave after staying here. The service was very attentive. Next time, I'll come again to a very warm guesthouse, and the room facilities are very complete

We had a wonderful stay at this Inn. Everything was well taken care of by our hosts, breakfast made with love and excursions organized on short notice. Property is in the middle of old town; one can walk to the market and attractions.

This inn in Lijiang is so worth it! The Naxi courtyard is warm and tidy, the green plants in the courtyard are super healing, the room is spotless and the bedding is soft and glutinous, the 24-hour hot water is full of water, it is super convenient to visit the ancient city in the midst of the noise, the boss is enthusiastic and does not sell, the cost performance is full, and the living is comfortable and at ease!

The location is amazing, it only takes five minutes to walk to Sifang Street, and it is super convenient to return to the inn after visiting the ancient city at night. The room was clean and warm, the bedding was soft, and I slept particularly soundly under the night of the ancient city

Nice location! It’s near South Gate no.1 easy to find and a staff was very friendly. The room and bed were large and comfortable.

The location is excellent—within a short walk from the Market Square and Mufu Palace, yet tucked away in a quiet area perfect for a restful sleep. The architecture has an authentic old Chinese charm, while the amenities offer all the modern comforts. Our hosts, Julia and Jeffrey, were outstanding and incredibly helpful. They speak excellent English and assisted us with everything—from arranging transportation and recommending great restaurants to suggesting must-see spots and even helping us navigate WeChat. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place!

The experience of staying here is absolutely great! There’s no fancy decoration, but the place is clean and tidy. The rooms are spacious and comfortable; the beds are very comfortable, and there’s plenty of hot water available. The location is in a quiet alley, far away from the bars, so you can sleep peacefully at night. The owner is friendly, and the whole experience is worry-free and stress-free!

The room is clean and tidy, and outside the window is the entire ancient city of Dayan. The night view is beautiful. The butler service is very good, and it is very comfortable to sit in the tea room in the afternoon to drink tea and chat. The hotel is easily accessible by taxi directly to the hotel's doorstep. Quiet in the noise, without the noise of Sifang Street. Highly recommended.

A truly exceptional place to stay. I do not normally rate places anything near as highly as this, but this is an absolute treasure. Beautifully styled and crafted, with superbly comfortable beds, great bathroom and delightful underfloor heating. Very friendly and helpful host. Great location. Decent breakfast.
