After two flights cancelled due to bad weather and chaos at Schiphol airport, this hotel was exactly what I needed. The welcome was warm and kind, the room was cozy and comfortable, and the vibes just lovely. The food at the restaurant was superb — a wonderful surprise — and breakfast the next morning was equally lovely. I’m truly grateful for such a caring and pleasant stay during a difficult travel situation. Highly recommended!

The interior is very tasteful and cosy, and the whole place feels well cared for. The staff were excellent - friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. They even arranged an early check-in for me without any hassle and were always easy to reach.

Nice quiet location very close to central Gouda. Easy walking to restaurants, shopping and history. The host was very nice and provided suggestions for some things to see and do around the area.

Everything was so perfect for our stay. Exceptional kitchen facilities, good size shower with loads of quality towels. Very large bed with fresh clean bedding. There were a couple of problems that did not affect our stay, and the hosts were very responsive to our questions. The location was very rural, and peaceful, but at the same time only 5 minutes from a motorway junction, and 15 minutes to the beautiful centre of Gouda. The property has an interesting family history & very pretty gardens, with canals surrounding that enable ducks, swans, and other birds to swim right into the garden. We would stay again, and recommend to others. The hosts included very friendly Izzy & Theodore, who unfortunately did not speak English as fluently as the owners!

Great place if you have a car. Beautiful and well equipped apartment with a great view of the port and canal. Nice kitchen area and living room with balcony. Cleaning gentleman was very friendly. I would return. The nearby villages are charming.
