Luxury Hotels in Chaweng

Can't express in words how much we loved this place. The thought and consideration on every little detail is commendable. From the quality of the linens to the evening tea to the app available for convenient ordering, everything was excellent. We planned on exploring Koh Samui but this property with minimalistic and bohemian interiors and a private beach had everything you could ever ask for from a tropical beach retreat. And yes Instagrammable places everywhere.

Our villa was very well appointed with a comfortable bed, plunge pool and loungers, indoor and outdoor shower, and jacuzzi tub with a view of the main pool and the ocean. The villas are set on Chaweng Beach so a spectacular setting for breakfast and dining in their restaurant and a just a hop on to the sand. The beach in front is well maintained with a dedicated section of loungers for hotel guests. We arrived into Koh Samui early in the morning and the staff let us know that whilst the room was being prepared, we could use air-conditioned transit rooms with showers, though we instead spent the morning enjoying the sunrise and walking around the lovely gardens, and they had the room ready for us quite early, which was very nice. When our room was cleaned each day, they lit candles to burn incense next to to the jacuzzi tub, which was a welcome fragrance upon entering the room. The gym and spa is just across the street, which initially felt a bit 'out of the way' but it's fine once you get used to crossing the street, which is busy enough as the road is a main artery from the airport into Chaweng. Nearby is a lovely wine shop, and convenience stores are close by. The resort is conveniently located about a 15-20 minute walk away from the hustle and bustle of Chaweng. We'd recommend it for a relaxing, luxurious stay in Chaweng and would stay again.

It was a great accommodation for us. We stayed 5 nights with my wife and 10 months old baby in room with pool. Room was very comfortable, staff was very very friendly. Food was delicious with reasonable price. Sea was not very deep. Normally its a negative thing but for it was positive because it was very easy to swim with our baby. We were there in low season but there was no rain, so we were lucky i guess. I strongly recommend the hotel.

The host was very nice and accommodating, the villa exceeded my expectations and the pool was a real winner. The villa was really clean and the rooms had all the amenities. Good value for money.

We really loved the warm and personal hospitality—Joe, the villa manager, went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The villa itself was beautifully maintained, with a fantastic pool that we enjoyed every day. Breakfasts were a real highlight—Joe prepared them himself, and we got to choose between American-style (eggs and bacon) or sweet pancakes, always served with fresh fruit and coffee. The whole experience felt relaxed, well cared for, and easy, especially with help from the host in organizing local activities. The pool is a real highlight—crystal clear and perfect for relaxing

Relatively new, well maintained, equipped and clean villa compared to the other hotels/resorts in the area. Also has a magnificent paranoma view from the living area and private pool. The doors/windows had fillers or mesh in between most gaps to keep most of the mosquitos or insects out as long as you keep them closed and the air-conditioning on. Host was responsive and helpful with advice.

My friend and I loved this unqiue boutique hotel on the hillside above popular beaches. Loved the pools, the comfy beds, big room, bathroom and huge porch, the chic open air bar and restaurant, the gardens, the ambiance, the breakfast and dinner, the delightful concierge welcome of Philippe, the owner and designer, and his staff. Outstanding service. This gem of a hotel is worth a visit to Koh Samui. Skip the beaches and just hang out at Baan Sawan!

Amazing view and great breakfast prepared by the staff. Staff took extra steps to make different dishes for a few vegetarians in our group.

Great service from the host, very friendly and responsive. The villa itself is amazing with beautiful sea views and comfortable sun loungers to relax and enjoy it all. Had a great stay and would definitely recommend.

Very spacious room, private and peaceful, with great service from the staff. We stayed in a suite with a private pool. Everything was clean and comfy. Loved watching movies on Netflix using the hotel's account and had many TV channels to choose from. Looking forward to staying here again on my next visit!

Very nice and new villa. A dream house… well furnished and stocked. Easy walk to fisherman’s village.

The view, the staff, the pool, the service, oh did we mention the pool? From the moment we arrived the staff were amazing, providing a guided tour to the property. This is where we first met Wan, she is warm and friendly and makes you feel at home. We had booked the sunset room and here to say it did not disappoint. Being shown to our room, Wan had already placed one of the keys into the room to set the AC. Upon arriving, we were blown away by the attention to detail, space and the incredible balcony. Wan explained all the details and how to make the most of this amazing property. The extra large bed was comfortable and the room even had a ceiling fan above. The infinity pool is incredible, looking out across the bay, watching the planes as they come into land, having the ability to order straight from the Maithy restaurant to poolside creates an atmosphere of luxury. Even the house keeping staff, were friendly and engaging. The property is situated at the top of a hill, and when we say too, we mean it! This makes for views that kept us mesmerized the entire stay. However there’s a convenient shuttle provided by the property, so it’s not an issue. We used Grab on a number of occasions and they dropped us at the top anyway. People flock to the Maithy Restaurant just for the sunsets, which says a lot. If you’re looking for a little bit of luxury, with some of the best views in Koh Samui, great staff, great amenities, comfortable beds and just a fantastic vacation… Unique is a must!
