Luxury Hotels in Hoedspruit

Location is unbelievable. Everyone who loves wildlife MUST stay in the Wildlife Estates. We spent mornings wandering the neighborhood bird and animal-watching and saw SO MUCH. The price was very good and the layout was perfect for our group of 8. We did not get to enjoy all the house had to offer, but loved the outdoor setting. It is a beautiful, practical and comfortable place for multiple couples or families to stay. The location was convenient for several days of ecotourism as well as nearby shopping and dining. The host was super responsive and accommodated our requests as much as possible.

Moya is AMAZING! Staff is really friendly and very kind! This hotel made our trip be much more special! Food is AMAZING! I hope to be back one day ♥️

We really enjoyed our stay at Wild Dog Guest Lodge. The rooms are modern, clean and the small details like coffee, water and juice for the amount of guests is a treat. The unit has everything one can ask for. Would definitely recommend it when travelling through Hoedspruit.

The property situated in a private reserve. It has a swimming pool with an open bar. My friend and I saw wild animals while we were sitting by the pool. It is a quiet place where one can enjoy the sunshine, the wine, the friendship and everything wonderful. We enjoyed the time staying there. Also the game drive trip arranged by the owner was really gorgeous!

Perfect for 4 people. Comfortable beds and amenities. Loved the outdoor showers and the pool was a plus.

Sharine the assistant manager made sure our stay was special. The food was unbelievable even the Ostrich. I would definitely visit again. They game park tours they offered were fabulous

NJ, Vanessa, and Octavia made every meal a special experience. Their attention to detail, friendliness, and constant desire to make every guest feel cared for were truly remarkable. It wasn’t just the food—it was the feeling of being welcomed and looked after as if we were family. The safari experience was nothing short of extraordinary. CJ has a unique gift for making you feel completely immersed in nature. One day he told us, “Appreciate the small things, and when you least expect it, the big things will appear.” That simple advice perfectly captured our experience. He taught us to slow down, observe, and enjoy every detail of the bush, making every drive exciting and meaningful. We were also fortunate to spend time with Surprise, whose knowledge, experience, and instincts led us to incredible close encounters with the Big Five. His passion for wildlife and ability to read the bush made every safari unforgettable. What truly sets Oase apart are the unexpected moments. Gourmet picnics by the river, cooking classes, fishing experiences, breathtaking sunsets from a terrace high above the property, and countless thoughtful surprises along the way. Just when you think the experience cannot get any better, it somehow does. David and his wife are exceptional hosts. They have created something very special—an experience that feels luxurious yet personal, elegant yet warm. Their passion is reflected in every aspect of the lodge and in the incredible team they have built around them.

The place is fantastic. Everything is clean, tidy and well designed. Everyone from the staff was super kind. They really make you feel welcome. The reserve is quite large and it has plenty of animals. We saw elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, hippos, pangolins, cheetahs, warthogs and all sorts of antelopes. It was fantastic. Special mention to Rico (guide) and Mdu (tracker). They were both extremely knowledgeable, kind, engaging and fun! They went the extra mile ensuring we saw everything we wanted to see. They made sure we always got a good view of the animals and that we were comfortable. They answered all our questions and kept us involved in the decision making of that to do next. 10/10.

The safari staff at Becks Safari Lodge are the ones who make the stay incredible. My wife and I were very lucky to be paired with great people such as Rifos (safari ranger) and Patrick (safari tracker) for our six game drives. They are the life and blood of Becks - upbeat, gentle, responsible and very professional. Moses from the hotel staff is also amazing. The stay would not be memorable if it weren't for the care we received from Rifos, Patrick and Moses.

Chris and Solly best game drivers!!! Loved them. The location was incredible. The views from the room were amazing. The staff was super nice. We got to see the Big 5, even though buffaloes were not part of the plan because that section was closed due to flooding. On our way to the airport, we managed to see them.
