Our room offered magnificent mountain views that made every day special. We especially enjoyed the spa, with the saunas area standing out as wonderfully tranquil and relaxing. The hotel’s location was perfect, just a short walk to the mountain lifts and very close to numerous hiking trails, which made exploring the outdoors effortless. Overall, it was an excellent stay combining comfort, relaxation, and easy access to nature.

Everything is perfect! We’ve been there 15 years ago and always wanted to go back because of how great this property was. Spa with outdoor hot pool is just amazing, dinners are fine dining experience rather than an ordinary hotel dinners. Stuff is very nice and attentive, rooms are perfect. The hotel is great, perfect for kids, not too crowded. Plenty of activities, all clean and good quality. The food service is very fast and efficient.

This family-run 4-star hotel is right next to the cable car in Alpendorf. It features an indoor pool, a spa area with sauna, steam bath and sanarium, and a lobby with an open fireplace.

Visited the property in the summer and it was such an incredible location. The host provided excellent communication and instructions and was flexible with check in time as we were held up and got in late. Everything was clean, beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with essential kitchen items (dinnerware, pots/pans, coffee filter even). As it was off season the restaurants and bar are closed. A restaurant appeared to open for brunch Sunday but was not aware ahead of time (could have been a research miss on our part). The drive up is a little daunting if you are not comfortable with mountain roads or dirt roads with pull out to let cars pass, recommend arriving during daylight as nighttime was a bit tougher to navigate on arrival (also recommend pinning location in Google Maps and then clicking get directions as Wave and gMaps had difficulty with just the address itself).

Surrounded by a 13123 ft² garden and the Hohe Tauern National Park, the family-run Hotel Alpina Rauris features indoor and outdoor pools, a playground, a sauna and gym.
