Just a min walk from station. We got a free upgrade to high floor with a panoramic view of the city. Spacious room with floor-to-ceiling window. Special remark to the automatic curtain which avoid the direct sunlight exposure when we wake up around noon. Exceptional and attentive services. Frontline staffs serve us chocolate and drinks when we do the check out!

Excellent stay at the Parkside Apartments. The location is right in the center of Herbolzheim, next to the city hall (Rathaus). Well equipped (kitchenette, dish washer, washing machine) and very clean. We stayed in an attic appartment which was spacious and well designed. Temperature was quite ok in mid June. Not sure how it is in hot summer days. There were two fans in the rooms already available. They also offered a self check-in and we needed this since we arrived at 23:30. You need 15 minutes by foot to the train station and then with the bus/train+bus, it takes under 30 minutes to get to Europa Park. Highly recommended!

The family-run GAIA Hotel Basel can be found right across from Basel Main Train Station, only a 10-minute walk from the historic city center.

Property was clean and small small things were taken care of. We were allotted a basement apartment, we had our own apprehensions about it, but USP was the veranda, which was private enough, and was surrounded by large stones giving it authentic look. Nearby area of the property is also well managed, with possibility to host friends for a meal outside. Moreover we were given guest cards, with which we could gain free entry (for 3 hours) to nearby spa. Kudos to the hosts, for their magnificent job.
