It was in a remote location, surrounded by natural beauty. The landscaping and location by the river was extraordinary. The building is all wood and natural stone, with a wonderful sense of feng shui.

Hotel Re:Plug is a one-bedroom (triple single bed) self contained apartment with loft beds up a ladder for children. It was perfect for just the two of us for a five night stay. The third bed in the bedroom came in handy for unpacking suitcases. Great living space with fully equipped kitchen and comfy lounge area. Brand new clothes washing machine and dryer came in useful for washing a week's worth of washing. The car park space outside the building is a dedicated space. One really needs a car to stay here as it's in a residential area not close to shops, restaurants or public transport as far as we could see. The nearest good supermarket was Sunny Mart - a 15 minute drive away. This supermarket was fantastic and had a fabulous selection of ready made meals so we never had to cook. Also a good selection of wine and beer. Other driving distances to places such as Kochi Castle, Chikurin-ji Temple and Botanic Gardens were only a short drive away.

Exceptionally clean hotel, even by Japanese standards. Staff was excellent in all aspects. Overall, a high end Onsen hotel that we’re glad we stayed at.

Katsuhiro's Ryokan is absolutely one of the nicest places I've been and nicest host I've met. The pictures speak for themselves absolutely gorgeous rooms with an Indonesian flair. Beautiful gardens with Koi. Katushiro was so gracious and took great care of myself and friends. Will definitely stay again.

The hotel room is new and spacious. I like the facility and night trip arranged by the hotel. The hotel staff can speak Cantonese which and all staffs are nice. I really think this hotel is more than three stars (actually 5 stars hotel). I definitely will come back in future.

A traditional and standard grand hotel with superb service and extremely friendly staffs. The location is great, just 2-5 mins walking distance to train/bus station, shopping streets amd major spots. The onsen in the hotel, opening very early and till late night, free to use to hotel guests, is big, clean and with great view. I really enjoyed the moment I was alone in the onsen early morning.
