The location. It was close to the GW Marriott and we spent most days at the GW. I must say after being in approximately 25 rooms our Villa room was nicer, cleaner and no smells.

Everything was great. Just was at the JDMarriott in Tucson and the JD Marriott Palm Desert was far superior in every way. My room was very quiet and I was on the first floor and really enjoyed waking up to the golf course and seeing the golfers and the ducks on the course. Very peaceful. Will return for future trips. I live a hour away and was a great weekend get-a-way.

The staff were amazing, particularly when they were roving the grounds. Everyone said hello and made us feel welcome. The kids zone folks were also really helpful. The lady who was working at the main pool restaurant has been there for a long time and she is perhaps the gem of the entire Marriott organization, loved her.

For the price the rooms were exceptionally small. Also purchased a massage which I thought would be discounted because of the Marriott stay , it was not I ended up paying a total of $380.00 for a 60 minute stress massage plus arnica oil . I have never ever ever paid that amount. Iwas so disappointed. We were booked to go up in January with 3 other couples and after we related the what occurred we all cancelled. Rather go to Las Vegas and have a nicer hotel and golf and spa treatment.
