We arrived early and were checked in straight away with a very good reception team However I had booked a superior room and found the room disappointing and dated We had stayed at the mercure in Chartres which was a lovely hotel a few days earlier and this hotel in bayonne was disappointing compared the the superior room we were given in Chartres Parking was in a public space not far from hotel and we were pleased with this restaurants were all nearby and there is a lovely waterfront bar scene on the river not far from the hotel

Well, the location is outstanding in itself. But dinner was fantastic as well, the service, the warm bread, the fresh dishes we had, mmmm. The statf are very friendly and helpful with any information. We enjoyed staying at Mercure Monte Igueldo ver much and will return for sure!
