It did serve its purpose of a stopover motel. It was close to a pub and a place to eat. Also close to MacDonalds for breakfast. Heaps of information on the town and what it offered. I could see the new management was trying to update the rooms. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom extras (I.e. shampoo, soap, etc) were lovely.

The motel is centrally located. The bed was comfortable and it was realtively quite. The lady at the counter was friendly. Access to Club Forbes across the road. Pleasant enough

The room was somewhat basic but quite adequate, the bed was comfortable. The motel is quieter than most in Forbes, in terms of traffic noise, but there was the usual noise from other rooms. Location is convenient to the town centre.

The staff are lovely and very willing to help you. The motel rooms have been updated which makes them feel fresh. The rooms are well appointed. The motel is very handy to the town centre and beautiful lake walks. The Plainsman will always be the place I will choose in Forbes.
