The apartment was spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed! Our stay was very comfortable, and the views of the lake from the amazing balcony were incredible. We wished we had more time there—we absolutely loved it! The hosting family was incredibly nice, and we were lucky to meet them. The few days we spent there were definitely a highlight of our trip. If you're planning to visit Austria and this incredible lake, I highly recommend staying here. Also, be sure to check out Solid Golf in Klagenfurt while you're there, you're sure to have a fun time!

Absolutely stunning location and historic building and grounds. Staff was very friendly, food and drinks were great, and so many options for activities from Tennis to swimming to waterskiing. Great rooms for families.

Very welcoming host. The room was very well cleaned, beds were comfortable. Two balconies, one of them with lake view. 100m from the ship station, that gets you around the lake.

Our stay at Balance Spa and Hotel was heartfelt and truly special. The hotel is very family-oriented, and the staff make you feel genuinely known and cared for. They even surprised us with a special gluten-free birthday cake for our daughter, which meant a lot to us. The food was absolutely outstanding—gourmet-level, delicious, and made with so much heart. Every meal reflected the care and talent of Andrea Grossman, whose cooking is simply incredible and full of thoughtful touches. The sauna experience was another highlight, especially the Soul Aufguss led by Carmen. She created a beautiful, moving atmosphere and even sang during the Aufguss, which we really loved. She also prepared a special cream for us to use between sessions—a lovely detail. The room was comfortable, and the cleaning staff were exceptionally friendly and warm. Overall, Balance Spa and Hotel is a place where you feel personally cared for in every detail.

This is a great hinterland hotel, very charming and well kept! Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The room decor is a bit old-fashioned and traditional, as seen on the photos, but it gives off a charming vibe. Hotel restaurant is beautiful and the breakfast we had was really good! The entire hotel area is peaceful, views of lush greenery and mountains are amazing and the outdoor hotel area is perfect for a relaxing experience. The location is great for exploring the trails and nearby walking paths and also close driving distance to grocery shop, lake, beach and Klagenfurt centre. The staff is very helpful and friendly, they have made our stay even more pleasant! We would love to stay here again.

We had such a warm welcome. The hotel was exceptionally clean. Breakfast was great, a vast spread of meat, cheese, croissant, rolls, yoghurt and fruit. The beach hut was lovely, we went on the pedal boat provided. It was such a lovely, relaxing time.

Basically everything, especially the very nice and helpful host. Just a bit tricky to find the parking place and the entrance door as you need to drive through other properties and there is no sign. Everything else is great

Great location, very friendly staff, the room was quite new renovated and very nice, a big balcony with table and 2 chairs invited to sit outside and look to the lake, the view over the lake exceptional. The entire hotel looks nice. I had a parking place in front of the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, thanks to its stunning location right on the mountain lake. The private beach and direct access to the water made it an ideal spot for relaxation and enjoying the natural surroundings. Mornings were a highlight, with an amazing breakfast served with breathtaking lake views and a wide variety of delicious food to choose from. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We had some confusion with the booking, but the team sorted it out highly professionally. Their warm hospitality really stood out. Another big plus: pets are welcome, which made our trip even more special.

Location was perfect on shore of worthersee. staff very helpful and we received an upgrade which meant we had a lake view. Breakfast was pretty good also
