Simply a super place to stay in Thunder Bay! Very friendly front staff, excellent independent hotel creatively designed. And, our favorite amenity - EV car charger!

Staff was incredibly friendly, even upgraded us to a Room not facing the train tracks when we mentioned that we were there just for sleep for one night. Very helpful!

Rooms are very clean Parking was convenient as we had travelled with a U-Haul truck

The hotel is in an old-ish wonderful building, with extra high ceilings and wonderful rooms. The breakfast was nice with a lot of choice. The staff was nice, friendly and helping. We really enjoyed our romantic vacation.

The front office gentleman who I met during check-in was friendly and nice. Even was accommodating to help us switch rooms due to my wife's uncomfortableness with the smell of cigarettes in our first room.

Immaculately clean, central air in every room, cold enough in bedrooms at night for great sleep, comfy beds, pillows a bit firm

Check out was 12 noon. That gave me a chance to sleep in and not have to rush around to get out. The breakfast went until 10 AM and was well stocked right to the end (I never got there until 9:30). The pool was large, deep and clean. The hot tub was clean and had jets that worked well The bed was real comfortable and had nice pillows The room was very clean. I REALLY appreciate that! The TV server was easy to understand, there was a guide on the screen to be able to choose which program was on which channel. (Most hotels now have tv but its a crap shoot as to where to find a program, you have to scroll each half hour to see if there is something to watch)
