Great and nice staff, among whom some spoke good English. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was ideal. Breakfast was also good. The staff was also kind enough to keep an eye on our luggage after check-out while we toured the city for our last day, as our train was scheduled late in the evening. Would recommend.

Location was a bit further away from the sites in Chengde, but still more in the heart of the city than others, which made for a nice break. Breakfast was good - room was really spacious! The hotel staff was generous enough to let us check in when we arrived, which was early morning. That allowed us to maximize our time out and about in Chengde.
