Great location to start the walk to Fonteinhas and Cruzinha. I really enjoyed the vibe in Ponta do Sol. Nice bars and restaurants. Very chill place. We had a nice room with fantastic views.

Friendly owner, quick check-in, clean, spacious, good wifi, all amenities were working, comfortable, and nice breakfast included.

A beautiful property located right in a lush and green valley! This place feels so out of time and it’s the perfect place to relax for a few days. Great hikes at proximity, food is great, staff is very friendly and host you like family. Wish I had more time there. I recommend at 100%!

Location is good and quiet. Nice view and the whole garden is beautiful.

A perfect 10/10 experience. The atmosphere is calm with breathtaking views, delicious local cuisine, and a wonderful pool. The staff were incredibly kind, and the owner was especially welcoming. It’s inspiring to see his commitment to the community. Note: It is a scenic 10–15 minute walk from the main road to the hotel.

Walhalla Sea Lodge is in a beautiful, peaceful location with stunning views. The design is impeccable- looks like it came from an architectural magazine. Bed is comfortable, shower was incredible overlooking the sea, and water pressure was good . I also want to mention that one of the women working there was very kind and welcoming (wish I remembered her name). She allowed me a late checkout, which I really appreciated and made my departure much easier.

We loved the location, as we were able to do two excellent hikes. (One from the hotel, Boca de Figueiral to Cha de Padre Cima, which we highly recommend. We also hiked to the crater. ) The restaurant was wonderful, we enjoyed the. vegan offerings on several nights. Breakfast was ample and delicious. The staff were exceptional, answering every question and assisting with any requests. We highly recommend this hotel.

Proximity to everything and super friendly staff.

I stayed here 5 nights and love it. Ponta do sol is a nice little town that can be used as a base to explore the island on the northern part. Sissi is very nice and hospitable. The place is on the main road with very short walk to the center. Room is clean and has everything you need.

Staff were super helpful and welcoming, even made calls to my driver for me as my portuguese is limited. Lovely clean accomm too.

Everything was fine with our stay, lovely rooftop with a nice view.

It is a great place in Ponta do Sol, next to the main road, a short way to the center with shops and bars. Short walk to the ocean. Very comfortable beds and amazing breakfasts ( banana pancakes :) ). Wifi also works perfectly. The host speaks fluent English. We had a great time there - highly recommend.
