Perfect location. Traditional looking while being a modern, comfortable facility. Wonerful terrace bar - resturant. Satisfactory breakfast. Very friendly reception.

Well, kept beautiful property. Reception offered great service even though we were checking in extremely early they made our room available.

Location of the hotel is special as it's right next to the river Vils. Komfort Room just big enough and all the furniture and bathroom is of high quality, modern and very clean. Staff very kind and helpful. Wide range of breakfast choices and delicious.

Hotel Fronfeste takes the prison theme to the extreme, in the best possible way. They even have a "prison escape" adventure that other guests participated (we did not), in which they wore striped uniforms, that made the whole experience feel more lighthearted and fun. On a more serious side, I work in corrections in the US, and it was interesting to me to see the structure and construction of this authentic medieval prison. The staff was very, very friendly and super helpful and nice. (If you are the type who would not like to have casual, personal conversation with the staff, this may not be the place for you.)

Great location, very close to the Bahnhof and City Center. Private parking, included in the price, essentially free, which is rare today.

The apartment is well located and it has a very nice garden. It has its own parking spot so you don't have to worry about that. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for yourself.

Exactly as pictured, so lovely and very clean upon arrival. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with essentials and coffee pods! Parking at the location. Easy walk to Amberg city center. The host was very responsive and communicated clearly. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again! Thank you!
