The location is fantastic as it is at the center of the old town. The hotel is quaint with modern touch and the schnitzel is delicious.

The location … it is inside the fortress. The main town is an easy leisure walk. Breakfast is good.

The hotel is special, it's very elegant and has a wonderful location. Very close to the old town and yet feels well secluded near the river. It's a former Kurhotel. We loved to walk in the hotel itself! There is a restaurant, although it's open till 20 only. We could buy drinks later. Several cozy places to sit in the evening. There is no TV in the room, which is special nowadays.

The location is very convenient. It is just across the train station and it is just a few minutes away from the famous Plönlein.

Location was next to the entrance to Rothenburg. It is an easy walk to the train station.

Even before arriving at the Hotel Sonne, the manager communicated with me as I have some medical issues, and he made accommodations to assist my wife and I. The Hotel is right in the middle of everything. The restaurant is wonderful for breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you have a car, the garage is right around the corner and very easy to get to. All the staff is super friendly and helpful. 5 stars service

Great location, staff, restaurant and room

I LOVED EVERYTHING!! What a BEAUTIFUL APARTMENT! I adored the history mixed with the modern updates. Erika was absolutely incredible. We were running very behind, as I rented a car and it was my first time driving in Germany. She waited late for us to arrive and helped me find my way through town since there was a heavy fog after dark! I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay. Thank you for everything Erika … especially your kindness. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Nice hotel offering great hospitality (thanks Linda) and everything you need for a visit in old town Rothenburg o.d. Tauber. Location is terrific, couldn’t be better, just steps from holiday markets in late November/December. Excellent value. Enjoyed a light meal in restaurant (recommend).

Loved the location, right in the centre of the historic town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a great size, the bathroom was huge. The bed was reasonably comfortable. Loved the decor. The breakfast area was superb. The breakfast was adequate but not a lot of variety unfortunately but still nice. Parking for the car was close enough to the hotel and we were able to unload luggage outside before moving it. I would highly recommend this accommodation and if I'm lucky enough to visit again I would stay here.
