We had an amazing time in Kotatuli - staying with a local family (and their dogs) really makes a trip to Lapland very special and personal. Living in the middle of the forest is such a treat to relax and unwind, plus you get to see the Northern Lights driving there. Totally recommended!

Jenna and Elías were helping us all the time, first vía e-mails and once there solving questions and problems that came due to the extreme low temperatures we had. The cottage is gorgeus and location with the lake amazing. Perfect to see the Northern lights. We would repeat without doubts.

Incredible location! It’s outside of the city area so you don’t have a lot of light pollution and better chances to see the northern lights. It was a charming cottage with incredible customer service from our host! 10/10 would recommend.

Wonderful house and wonderful hosts! The house is on the lake shore, it is well equipped, there is everything you need. The fireplace is absolutely amazing as well. If the skies are clear, you can see Aurora directly from the house! Pia, the host, is very responsive and willing to provide extra information, if needed. The hosts also hold the local farm nearby, where you can feed and pet the raindeer. Overall an amazing place for the family.

Great place to stay! The apartment was in excelente conditions and the owner was so nice to us. Always in communication with us for anything that we neede, they even let us use their winter stuff to play outside in the snow
