From the moment I arrived, it was clear how much care and thought had gone into every aspect of the accommodation. The space itself was stunning, tastefully decorated, full of charm, and with a real sense of warmth that made it feel both elegant and welcoming. Olivia was a wonderful host, striking that perfect balance between being attentive and giving guests space to relax. Breakfast each morning was another highlight. It was fresh, generous, and thoughtfully prepared—but the real star was Olivia’s mum’s homemade jam. It was absolutely delicious and added such a lovely, personal touch. Overall, this is the kind of place that stays with you long after you leave. If you’re looking for somewhere central, beautiful, and full of character, I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Whilst being off the beaten track it is anything but difficult to reach. It is perfectly quiet, perfectly safe. Wonderful night sky as no light pollution. We could- in keeping with late summer- have breakfast ( and a late night snack + wine) outside. The staff/ owners we encountered were lovely.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Jungle Room. It was in a great location only a 15 minute walk into Poitiers old town. There was free parking right outside the apartment. The Jungle Room was so quirky with the jungle theme and we loved it! The whole apartment was well kitted out with everything you could need for a stay and it was spotlessly clean and very cosy and comfortable. We would definitely recommend staying here and will return when we are next in Poitiers.
