Nice room, good breakfast. Really nice staffs

The hotel has been beautifully renovated and our apartment was delightful: clean, comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent, and we loved the city of Saumur. We found a local restaurant with an excellent menu within easy walking distance of the hotel. Check in and parking were easy, and our hosts were helpful and present at all times.

The room was very quiet and comfortable The bed was very comfortable The showers were a hit. They have a water saving system that really works, our girls were very eager to try to stay in the green zone. The staff was AMAZING. So helpful, so nice… The food was very good

After originally booking Maison de Gaspard which was not for a family of 4 people we were so happy to find Les Terraces de Saumur! Comfortable beds, great staff, and delicious meal!! (The 'doubles' are larger than a Queen in the U.S. We are used to a King and the size was fine. We got 2 rooms since kids had to share a double bed, too.) I didn't expect such a good meal at a hotel, but of course it is France! Huge spread for breakfast and although I am wary of machines that make coffee the ones they have actually make a very good cappuccino. Perfect stay. Responsive staff. Very happy. Pool is nice and heated. TIP: if you are in Saumur Sunday and Monday pay for the meals at the hotel because we found out that all restaurants/cafes, etc are closed and only serve drinks on these days.

Room location was great very accessible to everything and very quiet. Loved being able to get to the spa area in the bathrobes that were on loan to us with a bag to carry our belongings that was very well thought out.

Helpfulness when key cards were forgotten.

The fact the the hostel is pedestrian only make it calm and enjoyable. The location is perfect to visit Saumure and the different muséums and 1h away from Anger and Terra Botanica. The people there are more than happy to help you and dedicated so you can enjoy your stay If asked, they provide a bed for babies, but bring your matress and the baby seat (too bad that they don't provide it actually, maybe this can be improve). Overall the stay was great and I strongly recommend it for its peacefulness, privacy of the rooms and the surrounding nature!

Fabulous hotel with excellent customer service, a gorgeous bedroom and excellent amenities. The owner has upgraded this beautifully renovated mansion. The sauna, hot tub pool and well stocked bar made the visit perfect. Our favorite place in the Louri Valley!

The staff was helpful, the location was close to restaurants and the secure garage for bikes was appreciated.

The view of the river and the town of Saumur is second to none. We loved our room and it’s outlook. Wonderful location, lovely staff, and very nice breakfast. Can’t wait to come back!

The room was spectacular - large, artistically beautiful, and comfortable. I really wish we could have stayed longer than just the one night... it was that charming! The staff was terrific, as well.

Excellent location. This place is ZEN in the middle of city center. Delightfully considerate host with perfect English, as I learn French! Highly recommended - I stayed here 10 days.

Perfectly situated apartment within literally a couple of minutes walk from lots of restaurants, and another 5 minutes walk to the town square and Loire river. There was even a small supermarket around the corner, as well as a huge one as part of a shopping centre within a 15 minutes walk. None of the local attractions are far away, and it was easy to undertake the flat walk into the old part of town and then up to the Chateau. Amazingly we managed to park right outside the door on arrival, and as there were no parking restrictions on the road, we left the car there for the duration of our three night stay! Yes it was compact and bijoux, but it was clean and tidy, and that's all you need in a town centre holiday Apartment. Special mention must be made of the small courtyard off the kitchen which we used a lot - it was nice to be able to sit outside in the fresh air, sometimes in the sun, whilst situated in a town-centre property. Nice to have some washing up liquid supplied in the kitchen, and some shower gel in the shower. Although close to lots of restaurants, the apartment was in a quiet street/part of town.
