I stayed here during my world bicycle tour, and it was a good place to spend one night. It’s a very basic accommodation—nothing fancy—but comfortable enough and definitely better than camping after a long day on the bike. The owner only speaks Georgian and russian, so communication was a bit difficult at first. However, Google Translate solved the problem without any issues. She may seem a little grumpy at first, but she was actually very kind and helpful. She even called a taxi for me when I needed one, which I really appreciated. If you’re looking for a simple, affordable place to rest for the night, especially if you’re traveling by bicycle, this is a solid option.

The staff are very friendly. All rooms with an amazing view!! Very clean and cozy place! Breakfasts and dinners are perfect with super quality local products like fish, homemade cottage cheese, honey and amazing handpicked fresh brewed herbal tea which they served every morning and evening! Everything was just perfect, all the communication prior and during the stay. Host family made a delicious dinner for us even when it was bit late. We felt here like a part of the family. And the Glamping area? Wow. That was something. Our tent was a pure cosiness in every case. I will never sleep anywhere else around Vardzia than here, thank you!

A good location for a relaxing getaway in Vardzia, Vardzia - Tsotne's kingdom is an apartment surrounded by views of the inner courtyard.
