A 10 is not enough to describe our experience in Bacchus. The inn has an amazing view (great sunset view too!) and a very cozy, rustic feel to it, aided by the basis on stone and wood. The room was spacious, spotless and fully outfitted with all the usual hotel equipment. All furniture and appliances were in great condition. The dining area is very pretty and the breakfast selection was varied and delicious all around. The restaurant has great food and reasonable prices. The pool is another highlight. It definitely is the cleanest one I've ever been to and is very beautifully decorated. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, they made us feel right at home from the very first second. I'll also have to praise Bacchus for being careful about conserving water and energy (e.g. 2 modes for flushing water, A/C goes on standby when windows are open). All in all, if you are in the area, this is the place to stay, no questions asked. We are already planning our next visit!

We had a wonderful time in this villa, equipped with everything you could want. The landscape is beautiful, you can only see hills and hear cicadas. Even in the hot weather it is pleasant to be outside thanks to a constant cooling wind, at least during the time we were there. The pool is a dream, carefully maintained and thoroughly cleaned every morning. A shower with selectable temperature is available on the side. The villa has been built with great attention to detail, the fixtures are of the highest quality and are equipped with mosquito nets and 100% blackout electric shutters. Two high quality air conditioners make it possible to maintain an ideal and independent temperature in the two rooms inside, practically without emitting sound, ensuring a peaceful sleep. The kitchen is equipped with all the appliances you could want, including dishwasher, washing machine, etc. All very clean and kept in excellent condition. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised to find a litre of excellent locally produced olive oil, which we greatly appreciated. There are plenty of other groceries that make it very easy to start your stay in this beautiful place. The bathroom is also very well equipped, we particularly appreciated the hand shower next to the toilet with selectable temperature and the wonderful shower equipped with all the products you could want. Angeliki runs this place discreetly, she is present when requested and willing to dispense helpful advice on how to spend your time, but never intrusive. The only problem with staying here is daring to leave :-)

Great location in mountain village. The friendliest host we have come across. It was wonderful having the host on site. Any problems dealt with immediately. A charming appartment . I wish we could have stayed longer.

Fantastic hospitable hosts, delicious homemade sweets waiting for us on arrival, a plate of hot loukomades cooked for us by the owner's mother-in-law as a consolation for bad weather on the second day of our stay, clean, tidy spacious place, parking just outside the house, great location!

Host was an absolutely amazing person! Met us on arrival. Great communication in the lead up to us arriving. Giving us exact instructions on the place and village and how to find him. As its quite a small village. We are used to travelling this way, so if you are new to the Greek mountain village life, this is definitely a great way to experience it. Amazing check in and explanation of everything we needed. We travel week by week to new locations for work. Living in a new area and new accommodation always provides its challenges and excitement. This place was exactly what we needed. Great wifi, great facilities for cooking at home during the week. Very nice quiet little village with friendly locals. Fully fenced and lockable property so you feel safe with your car. Huge place! It was only 2 of us but it can host more for sure. Great outside area on both sides of the house to sit and enjoy a meal or coffee and even work. A quick 10 minute drive to Ancient Olympia which you will for sure want to visit! After living in a new place from week to week for over 6 months for now... this is one of the best places we have stayed.

It’s a lovely historic building in a cute little village. Breakfast was delicious and different each day. George is the best and was always checking we had everything we needed. He was so kind with our baby also, cooking special eggs just for her and going out of his way.
