Everything! The pictures don’t do any justice to the property. The natural aspect and it overlooking the jungle was absolutely perfect. Don’t even get me started on the outdoor bath. The room itself is large, very clean and comfortable. It didn’t have any bugs or unwelcome creepy crawly or jumpy guests. I also liked the aromatic citronella repellent the staff lit after each cleaning of the room. The infinity pool and dining area are absolutely stunning AND to top it all off, the staff were all extremely polite, welcoming and friendly. They made my birthday so special! Truly unforgettable experience!

Element Bali Ubud exceeded my expectations. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment I arrived. Menzel Villa Ubud is nothing short of paradise. My husband and I stayed here for our 10th wedding anniversary, and from the moment we arrived we were surrounded by peace, beauty, and genuine Balinese hospitality. The resort is incredibly romantic, with stunning rice terrace views, beautifully maintained grounds, and a tranquil atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and unwind. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay. Every member of the front office and restaurant team was warm, attentive, and welcoming, making us feel truly valued as guests. One of the highlights of our trip was the Romantic Dinner package. It was worth every Rupiah. We enjoyed a private dining experience in the rice terraces surrounded by candles and flowers, creating an unforgettable setting for our anniversary celebration. The food was outstanding, with each course better than the last, and the service was impeccable. I was also treated to the Holistic Spa Package, which was pure luxury from start to finish. It was one of the most relaxing and indulgent spa experiences I have ever had. Every detail of our stay exceeded expectations, and we left with wonderful memories that we will cherish forever.

The place is wonderful, not far from the center, but nevertheless quite quiet. The territory of the hotel is large, with 2 swimming pools and a large green area. Breakfasts are 3 out of 5. The staff is very friendly and always ready to come and help you to the evening. The room is small but comfortable. This is my second time staying at this hotel and I like everything.

My wife and I recently stayed at Purana Boutique Resort for a few nights, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Bali. We booked the one-bedroom villa with a private pool, and it was incredibly tranquil and private, the perfect blend of luxury and serenity. After spending time exploring, it felt amazing to return to our own peaceful oasis. The on-site restaurant was absolutely delicious. We found ourselves eating most of our meals there because the food was so consistently good. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Another major highlight was the complimentary shuttle to and from Ubud center. It allowed us to fully experience Ubud while staying somewhere peaceful and slightly removed from the busy center, which ended up being the perfect balance. We also appreciated that there were additional experiences available right through the resort, like cooking classes, spa treatments, and curated local tours. We didn’t have time to try everything, but it was great knowing those options were easily accessible if we wanted to add more to our stay. What truly made this place special, though, was the staff. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. Each time we returned to the resort, we were greeted warmly with smiles and kindness. What stood out most was how the team wore many hats. The same friendly faces who helped us at the front desk would also serve our meals or drive us into town. It made the experience feel personal and authentic, and we loved building real connections with them throughout our stay. Yannik was an incredible guide during our half-day tour. He took us to see the rice paddies, a beautiful waterfall, led us through a meaningful water purification journey, brought us to stunning temples, and arranged a visit to a coffee plantation. His insight, knowledge, and generous hospitality made the entire experience unforgettable and deeply special.

Rooms are unique, food is great, it shows they’ve been doing great as one of the oldest hotels in Ubud. Cooking class offered is top notch. We did that 9 years ago, and this time again. It is a wonderful experience.

I absolutely love the location of this place. The staff are all so friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast is very nice. The beds are huge. The air conditioner works great,the shower was huge and had plenty of hot water. I will definitely be returning again.

Very kind hosts, a wonderful, peaceful, quiet, and private place to stay. We enjoyed the location and the family hosting us. Nice location close to busy area of Ubud. The room, bathroom, outside patio, all were very nice, and we felt very cared for here. We extended our stay multiple nights. We will definitely keep this homestay saved for next time, will be coming back!

Fantastic location, walking distance to everything. Beautiful pool area with morning and evening sun. Good AC, hot shower and spacious room. Communication with owner was easy and we even extended one night stay.

Lovely hosts. Guzman and his mother Agung have been extremely kind to me throughout my whole stay. Always looking out for me and making sure I’m comfortable. Thank you! The room itself is nice and clean. I assume it’s new as it has no mold or unpleasant smells. The bedsheets are white and crispy. So it made my sleep very comfortable.
