My sister suggested this place, and honestly it turned out to be a great choice. I flew from Canada to spend some proper time with my family, and this place felt just right for that. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and comfortable, not like a typical hotel but more like a place where i can actually relax and be yourself. The rooms were clean, cozy, and spacious enough for all of us to stay comfortably. We spent most of our time together in the open areas, sitting, talking, and enjoying the calm surroundings. It felt really nice to slow down and just be with family after such a long time. The staff was very polite and supportive throughout our stay. They were always around to help but never intrusive, which made the experience even better. Overall, made our family time more special and stress-free.

This hotel is over my expectation as it’s stated in the website is under what they offer to you. For exemple, I thought there was only 1 room with twin beds or a double bed. However, it was actually 2 connecting rooms with 1 washroom where we had 3 beds: 1 double and 2 single beds. It’s incredibly quiet and locates quite central (10’ walk to the Dalai Lama Temple), and near to Kora walk also. Nearby, you can also find good restaurants, groceries. In summary, it’s highly recommended. I will come back here next time.

It felt like a place where guest satisfaction is not just a goal but a priority. The result was a stay that exceeded expectations in every way.

Very nice guesthouse just up the hill from McLeod Ganj square and away from the noise, but close enough to walk to the center and get anything you need. It has it's own little quiet charm and I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were very friendly and they make very delicious food at the guesthouse that they can deliver to your room.

Really liked the interior of the rooms, they match the pictures exactly, nice warm shower and comfy beds. The location is great, not far from the centre, just 7-10 minutes walk. The staff was very kind and accommodating. Although traveling alone as a female, I felt very safe in this hotel. Also, shout out to Sonu, the hotel's driver, who navigated me safely through the roads of dharamshala / mcleod ganj and picked me up from another hotel and also dropped me off at the airport.

Absolutely beautiful property with the best view and the friendliest family! The room was well furnished and had absolutely everything we needed for our stay! Also the breakfast is supper tasty!

Certainly I had an incredible stay at Leela Cottages in McLeod Ganj! The place is truly a gem—comfortable, spotlessly clean, and perfectly maintained. The rooms are beautifully designed, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. What stood out the most was the exceptional hospitality. Rohit, the host, is an amazing person who goes above and beyond to make sure his guests are taken care of. Despite our very late check-in around 3 AM, Rohit personally assisted us in getting settled into our room, which was a huge relief after a long journey. I cannot thank him enough for his kindness and support. If you're planning a trip to McLeod Ganj, I highly recommend staying at Leela Cottages for a cozy, elegant, and hassle-free experience!

I liked the friendly people.. quiet atmosphere... Great place to start the Triund trek and Waterfall trek

Everything was very good. It was clean and at a quiet location. The view was good too. Also the breakfast was always very tasty. This was by far the best hotel in which I have stayed in India.

I like the behaviour of the care taker Kewal Thakur. He was so polite and happy to help always. The food was also very nice. Warm gesture towards clients. Overall nice stay.
