The fantastic location in the center of town. Very spacious room. Cozy atmosphere.

Great breakfast, helpful staff. We stayed here on a bike tour to wait out a rain day; they had a nice bike garage. The staff arranged massages for us, and we enjoyed the indoor pool and spa area.

The location is awe-inspiring. The meals were delicious with a nice selection to choose from. We felt quite comfortable and the opportunity to explore the surroundings was readily accessible. The receptionist Aileen is an angel and went above and beyond the call of duty. If every lodging had an Aileen, the world would be a better place

Castel Sallegg is a spectacular property with its own winery (excellent wines!), and has a sort of Hapsburg air of sophistication to it… starting with the spectacular family trees of the owners which go back to European royalty of the 1700s. The property oozes sophistication and style.. we stayed in the perfectly appointed junior suite with a massive terrace and sweeping views of the gorgeous landscape.. vineyards, lake, mountain, alpine villages. The rooms are exceptionally tastefully decorated with Italian flair and the kinds of thoughtful touches which distinguish a good hotel from an excellent one! Breakfast is also just spectacular… the first morning we ate in the cosy converted wine cellar (it was raining outside) but the next morning they set up a beautiful arrangement on the terrace… complete with comfy blankets in case anyone felt a little chilly! The host Silvia could not have been more lovely and gave us fantastic recommendations for gyms and an amazing dinner (Panholzer Restaurant was incredible!). Overall an exceptional experience… we will be back!!

Very close to Bolzano, lovely friendly family, clean and comfortable.

This location and property are idyllic and charming. Hotel Unterrain truly sits in a vineyard and orchard owned by the family. Walking distance to San Paolo and the castles was reasonable and somewhat challenging, which we liked. The indoor pool facility was lovely. The breakfast provided daily surpassed our expectations in variety, quality, and freshness. The Family is extremely welcoming and accommodating. They made us feel at home despite our language barrier. We would recommend this property.

Outstanding in every way. The location is absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views and easy access to everything the area has to offer. The hospitality was exceptional from the moment we arrived, and the breakfast was consistently delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Everything was impeccably maintained, comfortable, and inviting. We felt at home immediately and genuinely never wanted to leave. This was one of those rare places that exceeds expectations in every way. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone.

It is a beautiful villa in a remote hillside among vineyards. Our apartment was private with a patio that led onto a garden. The hostess was very friendly and helpful.

Everything was perfect! The apartment is very well equipped and has everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The location is excellent – right on the main city square. Everything is just next door: a grocery store, bakery, and a café downstairs. If you are traveling by car, the parking garage is a big advantage. We stayed for a ski vacation and could reach the Dolomite ski resorts within 30 minutes by car.
