great host, she made an effort to communicate with us even though she doesn't speak to much english, she prepared sandwiches for us every day for no extra cost, and prepared us sukiyaki that was excellent and at a very reasonable price plus drinks that were on the house. and the house was very comfortable.

The owner was extremely friendly. The dinner was amazing. I was definitely worth coming here for the food. It was raining when we arrived but the next day it was beautiful. The pension was located in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend.

Very spacious and comfortable. Very nice kitchen, bath and laundry facilities. Close to Nagiso station and grocery. We were able to start our Nakasendo hike to Magome by stepping out the front door.
