We stopped here for a quick night on our way to Hakone and were greeted with lovely hospitality by the owners as soon as we arrived. They went above and beyond to accomodate my severe allergies and provided delicious traditional meals. We are so glad we stayed and will remember our experience here forever.

great host, she made an effort to communicate with us even though she doesn't speak to much english, she prepared sandwiches for us every day for no extra cost, and prepared us sukiyaki that was excellent and at a very reasonable price plus drinks that were on the house. and the house was very comfortable.

The owner was extremely friendly. The dinner was amazing. I was definitely worth coming here for the food. It was raining when we arrived but the next day it was beautiful. The pension was located in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend.

The location is stunningly beautiful and peacefully quiet. The food is exceptional and the staff were attentive. If you want a real Japanese experience this is the place. I highly recommend.
