Great hotel and designed room in front of Iwatake resort. Loved the kitchen and hangout nook and windows. Lived the projector in the room for watching. Lovely to walk around area with so much fantastic snow. Totally charming hotel!

Great location, excellent cottages.

Very pleasant experience staying at Takumi san’s house. They offer pick up service at bus stations and ski resorts. There is a free snacks bar with different wines and juice. We also had a free sushi dinner at first night. We really like the room, clean and sweet, also enjoy the Japanese bathtub after back from skateboarding. You will love the Takumi family!

Very comfortable, central location, setup well for a family trip. The concierge was very helpful with arranging transportation to and from the ski resorts so we did not have to navigate the cab system with a party of 7 and multiple small children, and they arranged transport of our ski gear back to the airport at a minimal cost.

Everything. This is a new hotel, and considering they have only been open for one month, they excelled in every possible way. The rooms are wonderfully spacious, with kitchenettes and even a washing machine. The hotel also has a free shuttle service to pick you up from the station, and get you to the slopes. For skiing, the hotel is perfect. The ski rental, Spicy Rentals, is next door, and the hotel has lockers to keep your equipment. But, perhaps, best of all, there is the restaurant. Incredible French style cooking with Japanese elements. The chef is very creative, and the Maitre D, Mr. Yoshida, was gracious and extremely professional. Their tasting menu is 7 to 8 courses, perfectly cooked and so creatively presented! My wife and I love this hotel!

Pure Bliss amazing place and the Italian chef and manager was fantastic, such a great guy!!! Cannot fault the stay, breakfast was SENSATIONAL!!!

Great self contained accom close to the train station/buses etc

The location is perfect. Close enough to walk to everything needed in the Happo-one village but yet secluded just behind a small forest area that is just so beautiful to wake up to everyday. The cafe at the company’s guesthouse next door was amazing! Coffee and snacks top level. Breakfast was so oishii! So convenient.

It’s right next to the JR station and very easy commute to all ski resorts.

It was close to the train and bus station, the apartment was spacious and very clean. It was lovely to experience traditional Japanese bedroom. They also had a western style bedroom as well. Bathroom was spacious and great water pressure. Kitchen well stocked with cups, mugs, plates etc. Our hosts were amazing, they booked our dinners that we picked out and helped us out with info about the town, and where to get our ski equipment . Plus much more!! The food recommendations were amazing. Wonderful place to stay, very very helpful hosts, lovely back area to play in the snow. Close to a lot of ski resorts. We will definitely come back to stay here. Thanks again for everything, we appreciate it!!

I like everything!!! Regret that i’ve only booked it for 1 night. I planned to extend but no slots available. Kitchen & dining i love it. So convenient to cook with complete kitchen utensils. The living room is cozy & spacious. The bathroom is big. They even provide vacuum cleaner so we can clean properly before we leave the place. The beds are comfy. Everything is clean. I hope they will maintain this place. And i hope they don’t increase the rates 🙂
