The Mekong Lovers Cruise was fantastic. The boat was in a very good condition and very clean. The staff, including Deng our guide, were exceptional and spoke very clear english. The food was outstanding. Deng gave us all the information we needed and answered all our questions. We stayed at Le Charm hotel in Pak Beng. Very nice and clean as well. The company is locally owned and works very professionally.

I loved my stay here! The hostel has a friendly, relaxed vibe and it’s a great place to meet other travellers before the gibbon experience or the slow boat. The staff were welcoming and happy to help with anything, like arranging transport and recommending a place to eat. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, the mattress was very soft and comfortable, and the common area is a great place to chill and enjoy the view. There is a large space to sit where you can see over the Mekong river to Thailand. I’d definitely stay again as it’s one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at in Laos.

A great place, super close to the pier, great breakfast and friendly staff. The hostel itself was clean, our room too (right next to the reception), just 4 beds and the sheets and the towels were clean and new. The blankets are just 🤌 the shower/toilets were enough and there is a great terrace as well for the sunset view and mekong river in general! Highly recommend this place!
